What better way to start a Monday than with a creep-tastically scary horror/mystery novel about mercreatures? You're right, there isn't one. I have my reservations about some aspects of Anne Greenwood Brown's Lies Beneath, but was overall pretty impressed with it.
Yes, that is how much I loved I Hunt Killers. I barely waited a week before reading and reviewing my next Barry Lyga book,The Astonishing Adventures of Fanboy and Goth Girl.
The rest of the week is all about Eoin Colfer's Artemis Fowl Series. On Wednesday I will review the first book: Artemis Fowl. With so many books out in the series, I am wondering how I haven't read it before...
On Thursday I will review the very awesome Preloved by Shirley Marr. I seriously devoured this book in a single night; it was wonderful! (I also spent the rest of the weekend watching 80s movies with my kids and forcing my husband to endure my 80s channel on Pandora.)
This week I purchased Black Wood (A Witch Rising #1) by Jayde Scott, and was approved by Random House for review copies of Hanging by a Thread by Sophie Littlefield and Velveteen (Velveteen #1) by Daniel Marks.
